Changemakers for a desirable future

2023 marked the beginning of a new era for Refashion, the government appproved Producer Responsibility Organisation for the Textiles and Footwear industry.
The year began with a new government accreditation (2023-2028), with a wider scope of responsibilities, and the launch of new mechanisms:
-The implementation of new eco-modulations criteria: sustainability, environmental labels and the incorporation of recycled materials.
-The preparation and launch of the Repair Bonus and complementary actions.
-The preparation and launch of the Reuse/Upcycling Fund, designed for SSE (Social and Solidarity Economy) players, and complementary actions open to all types of structures.
-The new support mechanism for local authorities.
-Increased support for sorting operators in order to encourage the development of new sorting and recycling preparation capacities.
-Increased support for innovation and experiments to foster the emergence of a recycling industry.
-Increased communication and awareness-raising among citizens with, among other initiatives, the "Mission Refashion" broadcast.
This year of transition and development at the level of our activities has enabled us to better respond both to the needs of the industry and to our new regulatory obligations.
More than ever before, we are striving to bring together and accompany players at every level - from production and consumption to regeneration - in order to reduce their environmental impacts and create value.
