Reuse

Developing high quality and local reuse

In 2023, Refashion stepped up its commitment in favour of waste prevention via the deployment of two mechanisms.

Firstly, the Reuse Fund, which exclusively targets Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) players.

This fund, resulting from the AGEC Law, includes two main aspects: support for traceability and Calls for Interest delegated to main textile industry SSE network heads, alongside Refashion.

Overall, more than 3,5 million euros have been allocated to SSE players in order to develop reuse.

Secondly, the Funding for complementary actions, open to all types of structures, via the launch of the first Call for Reuse Projects.

The objective is to promote reconditioning (cleaning, stain removal, repair) to make used, stained, soiled or damaged clothing, household linen and footwear reusable.
