Developing outlets
and a French & European industrial recycling sector

One of Refashion's key objectives is to develop the textile and footwear recycling sector in France and across Europe. To accelerate its industrialization, Refashion provides financial support for innovative projects and assists stakeholders who are driving the transformation of the industry.

As a consequence, in 2023, Refashion began experimental campaigns focusing on Material Preparation and Recycling in order to accelerate the develop and deployment of material preparation and recycling solutions for textiles and / or footwear.

In addition, since 2010, Refashion has been investing in and supporting innovative projects through the Innovation Challenge. In 2023, the jury selected four (TRL levels 1 to 4) projects.

Lastly, Refashion is continuing to motivate and bring together professionals with respect to recycling stakes, namely via the Recycle platform, awareness-raising webinars and exchange workshops.
