Speeding up collection on a nationwide level
Collection constitutes the first essential stage in recovering textile and footwear waste.
2023 was marked by the renewed approval of collection operators in order to put in place new mechanisms, namely oriented towards SSE structures.
Refashion also embarked on its first experiments within the context of the provision of collection and treatment services for textile and footwear waste. These new operational missions complement the existing mechanisms in France, aiming to achieve an ambitious 60% collection rate by 2028.
Our main objective is to divert this waste from domestic waste flows, as anything is better than incineration or landfill.
